Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech: The sixth-seed Yellow Jackets upset the third-seed Hokies, 6-1, to advance to the ACC Semifinals. Three Georgia Tech players homered in the game. Jayden Gailey hit a solo home run in the fourth inning and Tiffany Domingue hit one in the sixth. But it was Grace Connelly's three-run homer in the fifth inning that blew the game open, turning a 2-1 Georgia Tech lead into a 5-1 lead. Sophia Voyles and Makayla Coffield combined to give up just two earned runs off of three hits while striking out four. Virginia Tech's Emma Ritter went 3-4 in the game scoring both the Hokies runs, including a solo home run in the seventh inning.
