The Hawks have re-signed guard Trent Forrest on a two-way contract, per the NBA official transactions log, via Hoops Rumors.
Forrest, 25, is 6-foot-3 and appeared in 23 games with the Hawks last season, signing a two-way contract in August 2022. The Hawks offered him a qualifying offer of a two-way, one-year arrangement. It’s likely he just picked up that offer.
Along with the Hawks, he appeared in 60 games with the Jazz in 2020-21, and 30 games with Utah the year before that as a rookie. He carries career averages of 3.0 points and 1.7 assists.
Atlanta now has 15 players under guaranteed contract and three two-way players — Forest, small forward Seth Lundy and forward Miles Norris. So odds are, they will fill out their camp roster with five or six players on Exhibit 10 deals.
