This year season, though, the Lakers have cooled a lot since winning the In-Season Tournament. Now, the front office will have to address several issues heading into the offseason, such as LeBron James’ potential departure and whether to draft Bronny James or not. One of the most important, though, is finding a new head coach for the team.

Los Angeles Lakers Considered Jason Kidd to Replace Recently-Fired Darvin Ham

A few days ago, reports came out that LA’s front office is considering Ty Lue or JJ Reddick to take up Ham’s old job. In a video clip Dave McMenamin posted on X, Jason Kidd is shaping up to be the third name on that list.

Jason Kidd has spent the last three years as the Mavericks’ head coach with a current record of 246 wins and 140 losses . Before his stint in Dallas, the former All-Star guard coached the Brooklyn Nets for one year and the Milwaukee Bucks for four years.

At this point in time, there are no solid leads yet on which candidate is gaining momentum. In any case, Jason Kidd is a solid choice that can potentially get the best out James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
